How Long We Keep This Data
Different types of tracking data have different lifespans:
- Session Cookies: These disappear when you close your browser. They're temporary by design.
- Preference Cookies: Stored for up to 12 months so we remember your settings between visits.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated data is kept for 24 months to identify long-term usage patterns and trends.

Why We Actually Need This Data
Look, we could build a site that collects zero data. But it would be terrible to use.
Analytics show us that people struggle with our expense categorization feature—so we redesigned it in January 2025. Marketing cookies help us avoid showing budget planning webinars to users who already attended. Functional cookies save your dashboard layout preferences so you're not reconfiguring everything each visit.
The data helps us make better decisions about where to invest development time. Without it, we'd be guessing what features matter to Vietnamese businesses managing their financial performance.
